About the unit
Yara is opening up for summer internships in 2017 and is looking for new enthusiastic talents to join some of our exciting projects. Two students will be given the opportunity to spend 6 to 8 weeks within Sales Order Processing Project with the focus on Supply Chain, ideally starting beginning / mid-June 2017 based in Oslo.
Supply Chain is responsible for Global Planning, Global Supply Chain Procurement, Supply Chain Governance & Processes, Supply Chain Regions, IT, as well as being the owner of the Sales Order Processing Project.
The Sales Order Processing (SOP) Project is one of the largest projects currently running at Yara, and is of high strategic importance to Yara. In the upcoming phase, the project will build and roll-out IT system solutions to enable the new way of working in the supply chain across Europe.
In order to strengthen the project management of the SOP Project, we are now seeking to recruit two interns for SAP SD&QM stream which is the main development in SOP Project responsible for upgrading and harmonization of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Module and implementation of SAP Quality Management (QM) Module for complaint handling in Yara.
Responsibilities
Support project management in day-to-day activities of Core SD&QM part of SOP Project
Involve in establishing a detailed project plan of User Acceptance Testing Phase
Analyze data, prepare presentations and decision materials
Review content / courses in the project and support training material development
Involve in the communication and change management activities of the stream
Profile
Student with 1-2 years left of their study
Strong interest to Information Technology with the education and skills in project management and/or supply chain management
Structured, good communication skills, genuine and a fast learner
Proficiency in IT systems; good knowledge of Microsoft Power Point and Excel is essential and knowledge in SAP is an asset but not a must
Fluency in English – both spoken and written – is a must, other languages an advantage

The position is based at our headquarters in Oslo. The student will work closely with the project management team of SOP Project and be able to get insight in most activities performed by the Project Management team .
