Yara is opening up for summer internships in 2018 and is looking for new enthusiastic talents to join some of our exciting projects. One student will be given the opportunity to spend 6-8 weeks within our Patent Team. The main responsibilities of the Patent Team include drafting and filing patent applications, competitive patent intelligence, and ensuring freedom-to-operate for Yara’s commercial operations.
As a summer intern in Yara Patents, you will be given the opportunity to see how an industrial patent team is organized and how a company’s innovations are protected. The particular project the summer intern will work on will involve conducting research on the patent landscape within at least one technology area and preparing reports that can be used to identify trends, threats, gaps and opportunities. An oral presentation of the work conducted and of the related conclusions will also be held at the end of the internship.
The position is based at our headquarters in Oslo, and the summer intern will support the Oslo-based members as well as remotely support the Brussels-based members of the Patent Team.
