Finance & Economics Graduates
Develop your talent in a community of leading experts with an ambition to become the most trusted financial partner in our markets. Join our 18-month graduate programme, which is designed for top students with a desire to make an impact. Danske Graduate gives you the perfect start to your career within one of three tracks: Finance & Economics, Business Innovation or IT Engineering.
We share your ambition to succeed. Now and beyond your graduate programme
We are looking for Finance & Economics Graduates in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. Our Finance & Economics Graduates will join teams of experienced finance professionals within treasury, financial management, performance management, transaction banking, corporate banking, capital markets, fixed income, currency and commodities.
In Danske Bank, we have important changes ahead of us in order to adapt to fundamental changes in our markets. We need to prepare for the future in which the playing field is changing and our customers will continue to demand new approaches. This requires a growing focus on our core competencies.
18 months, 3 rotations, 1 ambition: To accelerate your career
You won’t meet our largest and most important customers from day one – and we definitely won’t let you trade derivatives within the first week. First, you will have a lot to learn from highly-qualified colleagues. Your 18-month programme consists of three 6-month rotations – all of them within your track. Rotation 1 and 3 will be in your home country. Rotation number 2 will be an opportunity to gain international experience through an expatriation abroad. This will provide you with a great network and a profound understanding of our business.
Throughout all rotations, you participate in joint training and networking activities with other Finance & Economics Graduates. Combined with hands-on challenges within finance and economics, you will develop into a key specialist, perhaps with aspiring leadership potential, applying your expertise to our highly-skilled financial community. We expect you to challenge business as usual, think new ideas and transform them into competitive advantages. And remember this: Everything you do will be about the customers.
Great grades get you in – great personality takes you further
Prior to September 2015, you graduate with a master’s degree, which has provided you with strong theoretical and methodological background within finance or economics. You expect to graduate top of your class and have international experience from studying or working abroad combined with relevant work experience from a student job or internship.
To really stand out, you need to have an exceptional personality and a change mindset. Your application and CV is your opportunity to tell us how you can help us becoming the most trusted financial partner. We expect you to be a result-oriented fast-learner with business acumen and the ability to make your knowledge relevant to both customers and colleagues in a rapidly changing environment.
