Danske Bank Equity Research is working to provide our Equity clients with the best possible research on a sector and company level. Our goal is to guide our clients to make the right investment decisions. Our equity research department provides clients with high quality research on both sector and company level. We currently cover a large number of listed companies on the Oslo Stock Exchange and most relevant sectors. Equity Research consist of 10 highly dedicated professionals. Are you our new equity research intern for the summer of 2023?
We are looking for someone who can assist our analysts with their daily tasks over the summer, as well as ad hoc projects. This can involve data mining and information gathering, constructing models and writing market and company research. You will also have the chance to complete a summer project, with a helping hand from one of the experienced analysts, with the aim of presenting your findings to our internal stakeholders at the end of the internship.
Who are you?
The right candidate for this position has a strong interest in companies, financial markets and equities in particular. You are able to meet deadlines and approach your work with a high integrity. You also have an analytical mindset and are curious to learn new things. We always look for candidates who strive to develop themselves and our organization. You enjoy challenges, dare to take initiative and want to part of an inspiring team that encourage you to grow as an analyst.
The person we are looking for have strong analytical and social skills. You also know how to structure, present and explain ideas in a coherent manner. The right candidate enjoys building networks and meeting new people. You have good academic results, and you are currently finishing a bachelor’s degree or working on your master’s degree.
An ideal candidate does not necessarily need to study finance, economics or related degrees. We are looking for individuals from a broad range of backgrounds that can help take our research to the next level and keep us one step ahead of the market.
The position requires excellent communication skills, both written and orally, in English and Norwegian. A proficiency in Excel will be an advantage as well.
The position is a part of the Equity Research team in Norway, and you will report to the Head of Equity Research Norway.
