Konsus was founded in late 2015 and became the first Norwegian company to participate in the reputable Y Combinator accelerator program in Palo Alto, California, in 2016. Konsus has since received solid funding from Sam Altman, Slack Fund, Liquid2Ventures and other Silicon Valley venture funds. The company is based in Palo Alto and Oslo, Norway, and lead by serial entrepreneurs Fredrik Thomassen, Haakon Heir and Jing Kjeldsen, along with world-class tech, marketing and operation teams with experience from McKinsey & Co, Amazon, Expedia and more.
