FREYR offers a clean Nordic solution to the rapidly growing global demand for high-density and cost competitive battery cells for electric mobility, energy storage system and marine and aviation applications.

We are targeting production of environmentally friendly battery cells through a business model intended to maximize long-term value creation and unlock sustainable, superior returns to our stakeholder.

We are planning to develop over 40 GWh of battery cell production capacity by 2025 to position as one Europe’s largest cell suppliers. Our development is located in the Mo i Rana industrial complex in Northern Norway, leveraging Norway’s highly skilled workforce and abundant, low-cost renewable energy sources in a crisp, clear and energized environment.

FREYR is developing environmentally friendly lithium-ion based battery cell facilities in Mo i Rana, Northern Norway. FREYR will supply high energy density and cost competitive clean batteries to rapidly growing markets globally using best available technology and globally leading partners powered by low-cost, renewable hydro and wind power.
