Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) is responsible for the management of the Government Pension Fund – Global, the Foreign Exchange Reserves and the Government Petroleum Insurance Fund. The portfolios are valued at more than NOK 2500 billion, and are invested in international fixed income and equity markets. Investment Talent Programme The NBIM Investment Talent Programme (ITP) is a global four-year programme designed for a small group of highly talented university graduates. The programme will provide you with a comprehensive learning experience within investment management, ensuring that you have the best opportunities to excel in a highly competitive global investment environment. It is our aim that by the end of the programme you will become one of our high-potential specialists who we can count on to achieve our goals. Programme overview: • Investment Management Discovery - first year Learning and understand the investment business through on-the-job training within two or three different departments such as: Risk Management, Investment Operations, Investment Advice, Corporate Governance, IT, Trading and Treasury. Workplace is Oslo. • Investment Banking Experience - second year Learning from the best specialist in investment banking. You will follow the Analyst/Associate programme of one of our partner investment banks in London, New York or Asia. • Analyst/Associate in NBIM - third year You will works as an Analyst/Associate at NBIM within a decided department and location whether it is Portfolio Management, Trading, Treasury, Risk, Research, Operations or Administration in Oslo, London, New York or Shanghai. • International MBA - fourth year NBIM will sponsor your one-year MBA at one of the top-ranking international business schools in Europe or the US to provide you with professional tools and global network whether you will start working as a specialist or manager. Candidate profile: • University degree with exceptional academic records • Strong interest in finance and investment management • High degree of flexibility and mobility with an international mindset • Strong analytical and quantitative skills • Structured and accurate with the ability to take initiative • Result oriented with ability to perform under pressure • Strong interpersonal and communication skills We offer interesting challenges in an active and stimulating international environment.
