Our global Energy Practice advises top management of leading energy provider companies world-wide on strategic and operational issues. We have a strong research team that supports our consulting staff – with information provided in the short-term, as well as complex analyses and market modeling. Effectively immediately, we are seeking a research analyst to join the research team in our Oslo office. Your role: As a member of our international research network, you will work closely with our consultants on innovative solutions for the energy sector. Your tasks will range from conducting short-term research to supporting long-term projects. You will analyze development trends, markets, and company strategies, network internationally with industry experts, and independently expand our know-how in the energy industry. With a well-developed information infrastructure in your daily work, you will use a broad range of internal and external sources of data. You will rapidly become an industry expert and as a first point of contact for our consulting team, you will contribute significantly to our client work and to knowledge building in the field of energy. Position requirements: • Hold a university degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Economics or Business with an outstanding academic record • Have a great interest in energy topics and some related work experience (ideally, you have already had previous experience working in the energy sector or in research) • Be looking to build a career or have a maximum of three years of work experience • Have exceptional analytical and conceptual abilities • Be a self-starter, committed, creative and work well both independently and in a team • You have both excellent written and verbal communication skills – both in Norwegian and in English as well as reading skills in Danish and Swedish Application process: Applications are submitted by sending an email to: [email protected] Remember to attach the following to your application: · Application letter · CV · Academic performance (university and high school grades) Application deadline: 27th August, 2012 Start: Fall 2012
