Rewarding communications career in Nordea Group Identity & Communications (GIC) Graduate Position The GIC Graduate will work closely together with Communications Partners, Press Officers and Communication support staff. The GIC Graduate will be responsible for developing and delivering end to end internal and external communications activities that position the bank effectively with key stakeholders including internal staff, consumers and the media. Responsibilities will include creating communications plans, providing communications advice to leadership teams, developing key messages, writing for and producing publications, internal communications and occasional liaison with the media and issues management team. As a Graduate in GIC you will belong to the communication department in Oslo and work with all kinds of communications tasks. During the two-year period, however, you will be required to work 3-6 months at one of the other Nordic GIC offices as well as a period with one of Nordeas business areas. As a Graduate, you have a position which provides you with huge possibilities to develop and contribute. Besides the daily work you take active part in international Graduate seminars as well as activities within your own business area or group function. Overall ambition is to help building and enhancing the reputation of Nordea GIC provides expertise to Nordeas communications with employees, customers and the public. The aim is to increase the reputation of Nordea through excellent business, media and community relations. The GIC team consists of employees working as consultants, PR officers, communication partners, journalists, web/intranet specialists and translators. Business understanding and communication interest The successful candidate holds a masters degree in business administration/communications or equivalent and has a great interest in communication. You have strong strategic and analytical skills as well as drive and determination. You must have a convincing understanding of the role that communication plays in fulfilling company objectives. We expect that you are doing well in a dynamic world and that you are motivated by giving service at the highest possible level to the management that you will be serving and your peers. You are service-minded and keen to take on new challenges. You approach your work in a professional and quality-conscious way and you are an excellent cooperation partner. You thrive in a hectic environment at times juggling short deadlines. You can work independently, are quality-conscious and rise to the occasion in making decisions. Computer ability -MsOffice Languages -Very good capabilities in Norwegian and English You have maximum 1 year of previous working experience when you start the programme.
