Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) is responsible for the management of the Government Pension Fund Global and the Foreign Exchange Reserves. Portfolios are valued at more than USD 500 billion and invested in international fixed income and equity markets. The Trading and Treasury Area is responsible for all fixed income, equity and foreign exchange trading within NBIM, as well as all financing, securities lending, capital allocation, asset class rebalancing and overlay management across all the funds managed by NBIM. Our team is currently located in Oslo, New York, London and Singapore. We are seeking to strengthen the team with two motivated and self-driven graduates who will experience extensive on the job training working in the different departments that make up Trading and Treasury. Focus will be on learning and understanding the functions and products in Trading and Treasury as well as developing in-depth analysis and reporting skills. It is our aim that you will become one of our high performing traders or analysts in Trading and Treasury. The positions will be located in either Oslo or London. An initial training period in our Oslo office will be required independent of location. Some global travel will be expected. Main Qualifications: • University degree with strong academic records • Strong interest in finance and investment management • High degree of flexibility and mobility with an international mindset • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills • Programming knowledge (MS SQL, Excel VBA or equivalent) • Structured and accurate with the ability to take initiative and achieve results under pressure • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English We offer interesting challenges in an active and stimulating international environment.
