Offshore Automation is a Business Unit within Kongsberg Maritime AS. We are today market leaders in several areas within the maritime/ offshore automation market, and responsible for running Integrated Automation System projects in the "high end" market of ship and vessel automation in areas like Drilling, LNG, Production Units, Offshore support vessels, Cruise & Mega Yachts. Our projects are run world wide, with specially high activity in areas like Singapore, South Korea, China and Norway. We run both new and retrofit projects.

Main tasks:

Engineering of production specifications

Specifications of functions and interfaces

Be responsible for configuration and control system application

Maintain and develop further procedures and routines for system and application tests

Test and verify deliveries according to plans and procedures

Commissioning and start up, on ship yards world wide

Assist our sales department with technical issues

We search for persons with:

Technical higher education within automation or ship design control systems

Good knowledge of Process applications in general

System design, SW and/or HW

Good verbal and written English

Experience with relevant automation systems

Qualification:

Excellent cooperative skills

Good communication skills

Staying power in a dynamic environment

Self driven
