Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) is responsible for the management of the Government Pension Fund Global and the Foreign Exchange Reserves. The portfolios are valued at more than NOK 3000 billion and invested in international fixed income, equity and real estate markets. The NBIM Investment Talent Programme (ITP) is an international four-year trainee programme designed for a small group of highly talented university graduates. The programme will provide you with a comprehensive learning experience within investment management, ensuring that you have the best opportunities to excel in a highly competitive global investment environment. It is our aim that by the end of the programme you will become one of our high performing professionals who we can count on to achieve our goals. Programme overview: • Investment Management Discovery - first year You will learn and understand the investment business through on-the-job training within different NBIM departments such as Risk, Investment Operations and Ownership Policy. Workplace is Oslo. • Investment Banking Experience - second year You will be trained by the best specialists in investment banking, following the Analyst programme of one of our partner investment banks. • Investment Management Experience - third year You will work as an Analyst/Associate at NBIM in a function where you can excel. Whether it is Portfolio Management or Analysis, Trading, Risk Management or Operations is based on your skills and interest. Workplace will be one of NBIMs offices. • International MBA - fourth year NBIM will support a one-year MBA at one of the top-ranking international business schools in Europe or the US to provide you with professional tools and global network for your further career at NBIM. Candidate profile: • University degree with exceptional academic records • Strong analytical and quantitative skills • Proven interest in finance and investment management • High degree of flexibility and mobility with an international mindset • Structured and accurate with the ability to take initiative • Result oriented with ability to perform under pressure • Strong interpersonal and communication skills We offer interesting challenges in an active and stimulating international environment.
