We are seeking to strengthen the Risk Control department within the Risk area through the recruitment of a dedicated professional for an Analyst position. The Risk Control department is responsible for a range of activities including operational risk management, governance and investment oversight. The position is located in Oslo, and some travel will be required. Main Responsibilities: •Further enhance and maintain the investment control frameworks, covering investment mandates, restrictions, monitoring and reporting •Develop quantitative tests to support the oversight of investment restrictions •Maintain the change management process for the organisations investment universe •Perform monitoring functions pre and post trade and interact closely with the investment teams •Further develop investment control systems and tools to display risk analysis at combined fund and portfolio level Main Qualifications: •Master’s degree with strong academic record within finance, science or engineering •Programming experience and interest (MS SQL, Matlab//R, Excel VBA, C#) •Excellent analytical and numerical skills •High degree of flexibility with an international mindset •Eager to learn, self-driven and result orientated team player •Strong communication skills and fluency in written and spoken Norwegian and English The position would be an excellent starting point if you are interested in a career within capital markets, both graduates and candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
