Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities (FICC) is an unit within SEB Merchant Banking and has responsibility for the advisory, execution, distribution and trading of a wide range of products such as bonds, commodities, foreign exchange, interest rate- and structured derivatives. SEB is one of the leading Nordic providers within financial markets. Business operations are conducted from offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, Frankfurt, London, New York, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore.
We are now looking for a Junior Sales/Trader or Junior Analyst for FICC in Oslo. You will be involved with the various products within FICC and receive valuable on the job training. We can offer challenging work, high degree of learning possibilities and a competitive salary. Start up summer/fall 2013.
The work assignment could include:
• Involvement in the market maker-team within various products.
• Produce hedging and trading ideas in cooperation with both trading and sales team.
• Produce and communicate sales comments on market/company events.
• Development of pricing- and hedging models.
• Advising clients regarding risk analysis, quantification, structuring of derivatives, trading and hedging strategies.
Requirements:
• Higher degree in Economics, Finance or Engineering.
• Graduated this year or within less than a year.
• An average grade of A or B, or extraordinary extracurricular achievements.
• Good knowledge in programming (VBA, C++ etc.).
• Great numeric and analytical skills.
• Team player.
• Excellent oral and written skills in Norwegian and English.
