Investment Banking Full Time Analyst

Position Description

As a Full-Time Analyst you have the option of working in either the Investment Banking Division (IBD) or Global Capital Markets (GCM). During the three-year Programme, you will work on a variety of corporate transactions and take on significant responsibility from Initial Public Offerings (IPO) to M&A. You will play an important role on teams that include senior professionals who will encourage you to go beyond the numbers and think creatively. Investment Banking opportunities are available in London and in many of our regional offices including Dubai, Frankfurt, Johannesburg, Madrid, Milan, Moscow, Paris, Stockholm, Tel Aviv and Zurich. The Programme begins mid-summer with four to six weeks of intensive classroom training in London.

Amongst your wide-ranging responsibilities:

• Gathering and synthesising financial and operating information about companies, industries and governments • Creating financial models • Gathering market data to analyse trends and help value and price transactions • Drafting presentations and memoranda for a wider audience within the firm and the financial services industry • Attending team discussions and client meetings, where you may be asked to deliver parts of a presentation The work is challenging, and Analysts are encouraged to roll up their sleeves, dig into financial statements, and think creatively about innovative solutions. The Investment Banking and Global Capital Markets EMEA hiring process is centralised out of our London office. A minimum 2.1 honours degree is required for students in the United Kingdom, and an equivalent standard for students outside the country.
