Areas of responsibility and challenges As an Associate with FSN Capital you will work with the entire investment cycle – the identification and analysis of a potential investment target, the due diligence and negotiation process, the company holding and development phase, and finally the exit process. You will have a very close collaboration with the senior management and board of FSN Capital’s portfolio companies, driving growth and operational improvements by carrying out business development and strategic projects. FSN Capital is an expanding firm, and at the same time a flat and transparent organisation where you will work across different projects, with various team members out of our other offices.You will be expected to take significant responsibility from day one. In summary, your responsibilities will be: • Conduct industry and market research projects to identify interesting investment opportunities and to contribute to deal making • Contribute to the process of evaluating potential investments including due diligence work – both from a commercial and a financial analysis perspective • In connection with acquisitions, conduct market and company analysis (including valuation) • Build and develop integrated financial models • Assist responsible deal team on specific development projects within portfolio companies • Continuously analyse information about the portfolio companies and fund performance • Assist in structuring and executing exits in portfolio companies • Develop and produce materials for the board of directors of portfolio companies • Form an active part of FSN Capital and contribute in the development of an excellent and growing firm Candidate profile QUALIFICATIONS Requirements • 0-2 years experience, from a top international management consultancy firm or investment bank. Complementing relevant work experience would be from another private equity firm • Fluent in Norwegian and English • Strong academic degree in Economics/Business Administration and/or Engineering from a leading university Meriting • Internship from management consultancy firm or investment bank highly regarded • MS Office proficiency • Other languages • Other international experience PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS Requirements • Mature, humble and self-confident team player with strong interpersonal skills and integrity – leadership skills • A sincere interest in companies and business development • Entrepreneurial, proactive and flexible self-starter with a strong driving force • High tenacity and energy • Highly productive with strong logical and analytical capacity • Excellent communicator and presenter • Well organised with high attention to detail Please email your CV and personal application letter to [email protected].
