Balance Sheet Management department Nordic Financial Management in Santander Consumer Bank consists of four departments which all are located in Oslo; Treasury, Analysis & Balance Sheet Management, Capital Markets and Customer Deposits. The Analysis & Balance Sheet Management department will have a total of 4 people employed. The Analyst position is part of the Balance Sheet Management department. The department is responsible for interest rate and liquidity management, financial planning and management of the bank’s liquid bond portfolio in the Nordics. We seek an ambitious person with strong analytical skills to the role as Analyst. This to further strengthen operations related to portfolio management, modeling of interest rate and liquidity risk, hedging and monitoring of liquidity- and market risk as well as other related activities. Responsibilities • Asset and liability management • Management of the bank’s portfolio of liquid bonds • Modeling, hedging, and forecasts of interest rate, liquidity and currency risk in the different currencies/interest rates • Financial planning and structuring in the four Nordic countries • Liquidity management both on a short and long term basis • Backup on daily management of liquidity Profile • Degree in Finance or other relevant field with good academic results. Master’s degree is preferable • Preferably 2-5 years relevant experience. Candidates without experience and good analytical skills can also apply • Strong interest in financial instruments and capital markets • Good knowledge of Excel.
