Portfolio Analyst- Sector Strategies NBIM is seeking a dedicated and results oriented professional for the position of Portfolio Analyst for Sector Strategies. The Sector Strategies department is responsible for a broad range of industry focused risk mandates within the Equity Strategies area. You will work in a small team centrally in Sector Strategies, and report to the Global Head of Sector Strategies. The position is located in London. Some travel will be required. Responsibilities: • Monitoring risk in Sector Strategies individual mandates, and at the overall Sector Strategies level • Analysing PM trading, performance and risk taking • Keeping track of research activity • Preparing regular and ad hoc reports • Developing, Improving and automating standard reporting • Helping to implement mandate start ups and changes • Contributing to a hardworking, high-performing team with a focus on results Main Qualifications: The successful applicant will have the following background/skills • Masters degree in finance or other quantitative field with strong academic records • Maximum 5 years of relevant work experience in quantitative analysis and/or finance • Extensive experience with data processing tools such as Excel/VBA, SQL, MATLAB, R • Ability to deliver a high volume of work • Ambition to excel • High level of integrity • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with strong proficiency in written and spoken English NBIM can offer a rewarding, international fast-paced working environment, and the opportunity to play a role in safeguarding and building financial wealth for future generations for one of the world’s largest funds.
