Norges Bank Investment Management is looking to recruit high-performing internationally minded graduates for the 2017 Investment Talent Programme.

The Programme lasts two-years and gives trainees the opportunity to take part in a comprehensive development programme, with very high achievers having the opportunity to pursue a sponsored Masters in Finance at a top Global Business School. This programme is designed for highly motivated and skilled candidates with recent University degrees who are looking for an exciting and demanding career in International investment management.

Programme overview:

◾First Year: Introduction and investment banking experience

You will profit from a comprehensive introduction to the organisation and systematic skills training in our offices in Oslo and London. This will be followed by a secondment where you will take part in the Graduate Training Programme at one of our partner investment banks, in London. During your secondment, you will work alongside sell-side and equities research specialists in the international investment banking business.

◾Second year: Investment management experience

The second year will consist of comprehensive on-the-job training in one of our international offices within an equities area. This will provide you with the opportunity to prove yourself while applying what you have learned. Based on your demonstrated skills and interest, aligned with business needs and opportunities, this will set the scene for your future career at Norges Bank Investment Management.

Within the two-year programme you will be provided with the opportunity to become a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and to take part in general development training, such as advanced presentation skills. You will have access to top management, industry specialists and professionals to enhance your career development.

Very high achievers will get the opportunity to receive sponsorship for a Master’s at an International business school.
