We are looking for an Integrity Engineer to join our technical team at Forus, supporting operation of the Balder, Ringhorne and Jotun fields. The Integrity Engineer we are looking for is responsible for our Facilities Integrity Management Framework Program (FIMS) within corrosion control and pressurized static (topside) equipment. The role involves daily follow-up of the ongoing inspection program, evaluation of any anomalies, as well as optimization and adjustment of the program.
Main tasks
Responsible for corrosion control (internal and external) on all fields
Fluid samples, corrosion inhibitors, corrosion coupons, CP measurements and coating
Responsible for static equipment on one or several of our fields
FIMS/RBI optimization
Day to day support of offshore inspectors and operations
Initiate and manage smaller improvement projects
Prepare and present production status to licence partners
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or other relevant Master’s degree in combination with relevant corrosion control work experience
Experience in programming and databases is an advantage
0-2 years of work experience or graduate of 2018
Strong academic performance
Fluent in Norwegian and working knowledge of English, written and oral
