The FX & Derivatives sales desks are seeking a highly ambitious First-Year Analyst to join our team in Oslo. Is that you?
The desk is responsible for advising corporates and institutions in managing their interest rate and currency positions. We are a part of the Fixed Income Currencies & Commodities division of Danske Bank Corporates & Institutions.
As First-Year Analyst, you will put advanced theory into practice. Based on your strong theoretical background we will help you develop into a strategic discussion partner for our customers related to derivatives and currency exposures. You will work with a broad range of highly skilled financial specialists and with a wide range of different types of customers. As part of the Derivatives and FX team, you are expected to build strong relationships with our different departments across functionalities both locally and towards colleagues in the various sites we are present. You will meet a variety of personalities from sales people and traders to physics PhDs and lawyers across our offices. It is important that you have strong communication skills and that you are fluent in English and preferably a Scandinavian language. Given that we operate in highly competitive markets, it is important that you have an attention to detail.
You have a background with either a M.Sc. or PhD degree in Economics, Mathematical Economics or the like with a stellar academic record of accomplishment. You either are a recent graduate or will graduate in the coming months.
