We in Danske Bank are looking for ambitious students for a summer internship in Equity Research for eight weeks. Is that you?
Danske Bank Equities is the leading Nordic Equity House, serving institutional investors in Europe and the US. Our team of sales people, traders, analysts, corporate access and other support functions is approximately 150-strong.
As a summer intern at Danske Bank Equity Research, you will be part of our top-ranked pan-Nordic team covering companies across sectors in the Nordics in which you will be responsible for assisting research coverage of mainly Norwegian companies. Your job will be to assist in generating proprietary fundamental research and help analysts provide advisory and investment ideas for our clients (global fund managers) and our equity sales force globally. Equity research, despite its analytical nature, is fast moving and you need to be calm under pressure and able to meet critical deadlines, sometimes over extended periods. We are looking for highly driven people with intellectual curiosity, ambition and an aspiration towards an absolute commitment to serving the best interests of our clients.
The internship requires not only micro-analytical skills, such as basic understanding financial accounts, a company's business model, or the strengths and weaknesses of management, but also an understanding of macroeconomic trends that could affect the stocks you will help cover or markets in general.
