Business Developer – Digital Solutions

We are seeking a Business Developer to drive the development of future digital solutions and services in Telenor, especially within the payment, credit domain and digital care.

The digital shift is bringing profound changes, both in technology, as well as in deregulations of the markets. These changes bare the possibility to drive innovation in areas like payment, credit and digital care, with Telenor as a front-runner in these processes.

As a Business Developer, you will contribute to this innovation with ideas, the exploration of possibilities, and the realization of viable concepts and products.  You will be working closely with both internal stakeholders and external customers, to test your prototypes in the market.

The innovation process in Telenor is highly concentrated around agile development and The Innovator’s Method.

The position reports to Head of Digital Care, IT and Development.

As our new Business developer, your job will be to:

• Identify, prototype, develop and commercialize business ideas, and transfer them into actionable and scalable strategies
• Support the development and implementation of digital solutions, mainly in the payment and credit domain
• Close cooperation with customers, colleagues, different departments, and business partners.

The ideal candidate has:

• Master’s degree in relevant subjects such as economy, business administration, strategy, technology
• Background from consultancy and/or finance is preferred, but we are willing to consider graduates for this role
• Competence to see the correlation between customer needs, business models and new technology
• Experience with service design techniques, such as user testing and prototyping
• Experience with development and change processes, knowledge of lean and agile ways of working is a benefit
• Working proficiency in English, good knowledge of Norwegian, written and spoken
