Project Assistant

Danske Bank is looking for a talented Project Assistant to join the Growth & Impact team in Business Banking – supporting start-up companies on their growth journey. We work together with ambitious companies from early stage to scale-ups – and beyond. We are passionate helping Nordic entrepreneurs to scale their Business and make a better world at the same time. The unit works to position Danske Bank as the preferred financial partner for Growth start-ups, to find new business opportunities for the bank, build network and relations to start-up and impact ecosystem, learn new ways of working, and inspire the Danske Bank culture.

As a Project Assistant, your primary task will be to assist and lead various initiatives and development projects of varying nature. The position requires 15-20h/week and is located in Trondheim. The Growth & Impact area is developing fast and we therefore need a Project Assistant that skillfully and independently can move us forward and ensure that we get ahead in the area. This includes successfully delivering projects and research assignments, proactively managing stakeholders, internally and externally, to ensure buy in and input for solutions and scouting, approaching and managing new partnerships and initiatives to develop our projects. Additionally you will be networking with start-ups, investors, social entrepreneurs and other actors in the ecosystem.

We believe that you are in the last year of your Bachelor program or in your first year of your Master’s program in a relevant academic field. We expect you to be ambitious and passionate about personal and professional development and that you actively seek opportunities to do this in collaboration with you colleagues. You are comfortable and confident presenting in front of different stakeholders and you bring value to the table through crisp analysis and recommendations. It is no requirement, but we merit previous experience and knowledge on the start-up ecosystem and venture capital or impact investments. More than anything, a great interest in the area is important. Furthermore, the role requires excellent communication skills and full proficiency in English, a proactive attitude and initiative and a result-oriented approach. Additionally, you have an analytical mind-set, relationship building skills and assertiveness.

The position requires fluency in both Norwegian and English.
