Orkla Summer Academy: Internships - Not your typical summer camp…

Orkla’s M&A and Business Development team is responsible for Orkla’s work with corporate strategy and mergers & acquisitions. As an internship in this team, you will get an introduction to how a company like Orkla assess which companies to acquire, and provide insight into how an early stage acquisition process is conducted. You will work together with skilled professionals with experience from consulting, investment banking and the consumer industry. At Orkla, you will truly be part of the action and learn more about how acquisitions are done in practice - truly putting theory to practice! 

A typical project could be working with an “early-stage” M&A process which means supporting in the strategic assessment of new growth areas for Orkla, including identification and assessment of possible acquisition targets

You will be based at Orkla’s Headquarters in Skøyen.

Who are you?

• Preferably a relevant Master of Science from a leading institution. Another educational background could also be sufficient in combination with the right experience and with the right level of analytical capabilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High creativity and commitment
• Ability to make the complex tangible and real in a constantly changing environment
• Social and able to interact with people in different positions throughout the company
• Curiosity combined with a strong desire to learn and the ability to make it happen - people who want to make an impact, love working here!
