About the position
We in InPhase Solutions AS are looking for new colleagues. As a member of the InPhase team you will work on many challenging and varied topics, developing new technology as well as improving existing products. We work with many different clients, but we also pursue and conduct our own internal projects.
At InPhase we work with applications of ultrasound technology within a wide range of fields, such as antifouling on marine structures, downhole drilling, medical and non-medical imaging, flow measurements, corrosion surveillance, thickness measurements, wireless transfer of energy and data, material inspection and flaw detection, and also clinical applications.
A Consultant will perform as an individual contributor on client engagement teams, working under the supervision of or as a project manager, to develop work product, lead specific project initiatives, and act as a subject matter expert on consulting projects. Tasks include, but are not limited to, numerical simulations, algorithm and software development, documentation, testing, reporting, electronics, lab experiments, project management, networking, support business development and technical sales. It is expected that the Consultant contributes to team efforts as well as to work independently and in any case respecting project requirements, specifications, cost limits and timelines. Open communication with the client, colleagues and external parties is an essential part in all those activities.
In some projects traveling is involved, mostly in Norway, but occasionally abroad. In addition, the Consultant cultivates good relationships with colleagues and clients and exhibits a professional, business-like demeanour at any time in the professional context.
Who are we looking for?
We want enthusiastic and independent people, preferably with a background from:
• Electronics or electrical engineering
• Computer science
• Physics or biophysics
• Mathematics
• Cybernetics
Candidates should hold a master’s degree or a PhD, and have experience/education in some of the following fields:
• Signal processing/analysis
• Ultrasound, acoustics or wave propagation
• Applied mathematics or numerical simulations
• Image processing / Computer Vision
• Machine learning / Artificial intelligence
• Software development or scientific programming (e.g. C++, Python, Matlab)
• Laboratory experimentation
