The data team at Otovo is actively looking to expand its growing set of competencies and right now we’re on the lookout for a person that would find it exciting to assemble and present visualisations to stakeholders in our organisation.

You are likely someone who likes visualising data in the most congruent and appeasing way, you enjoy writing fairly sophisticated SQL statements and actively working across the organisation to provide valuable data-driven insights. Your formal background of lesser importance, what we’d like to see is your passion and commitment towards great results.

At Otovo we strive to become the one-stop shop for all your solar energy needs. We accomplish this by having a customer-first focus, we aim to provide the most seamless and user friendly experience for all users accessing our platform.

You’ll be a key resource in our data team, where you will have an opportunity to work with both descriptive and predictive analytics, while providing core information to drive our business forward.

We would enjoy if you exhibit some of the following qualities:

• You take pride in following the best practices for writing SQL.
• Aesthetics matter, as does the underlying data. An average is not always the best measure for comparison, would you not agree?
• Business says one, data says another. Solving puzzles is a favourite passtime of yours.

We’ll be super excited if you:

• Are curious about learning the ways of the company, and on the need to continuously challenge yourself in areas unknown.
• Have a bit of statistical finesse, and a quantitative interest at heart
• Know your way around one or more professional BI tools
• Able to write up smaller scripts in Python.

You will be formally employed with our Oslo office, and while we would put importance on you being a resident here, we’re happy to consider your resume in case you are looking for a remote only position.
