Finance Summer Internship 2022

Every summer we recruit around 50 interns that will work across different departments in Orkla. Our goal for the internship is to be fun and exciting but also a place where our interns can learn valuable skills that will help them in their future careers. Throughout the summer there will be held social events and gatherings for the interns to also get to know each other in a fun, out-of-office environment. This will be a paid position running for 8 weeks between June and August. Some travel may be required in certain positions.

Summer Internship in Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) 

Our Corporate Finance function, based at our HQ in Skøyen, covers financial controlling, internal audit, accounting, tax and treasury. An internship in FPA will give you insight in the daily life of the central finance function in one of Norway’s largest listed companies. You will be part of a dynamic team of Finance Professionals. The team is responsible for preparing periodic financial reporting, providing ongoing financial support and advisory services to business areas, as well as making analysis and presentations for the Group Management and the Board.  

As a Summer Intern in FPA, you will be part of the team, working on the quarterly financial reporting, analysis for the Group Management and an in-depth project focusing on a relevant topic. You will get training and learn to use tools such as Excel, Power Point, SAP BI, Hyperion Financial Management and Smartview. The team works broadly across various companies and disciplines in Orkla, and is a great starting position to learn about finance.  

Who are you? 

• Master’s Degree within Civil Economics or Finance. 

• Strong analytical skills both numeric and verbal. 

• Ability to perform typical controller tasks. 

• Interest in a future career within finance and controlling.
