Consultant in Maritime Advisory

Maritime Advisory employs close to 200 consultants and engineers who support customers in the maritime industry globally in their efforts to make the right decisions to achieve profitable and sustainable results. We have the capabilities, experience and track record to deliver high value solutions, mobilizing the full potential of customers’ assets and operations, putting technical matters and business decisions into meaningful context to achieve optimal solutions.

We are seeing a growing market in two key transformation areas decarbonization and digitalization and we see continued high requests for support from our technical, safety, environmental technologies core services. We are therefore currently strengthening our capacity to further develop our abilities to support our customers tackling these transformations and key challenges. 

Decarbonization is the biggest challenge facing the maritime industry as we move towards 2030 and beyond.  Maritime industry is facing new emissions regulations and the industry will have to develop new logistic solutions and ship technologies to comply with the new global emission regimes. In Maritime Advisory we offer our customers world leading advice and support in the decarbonization space. 

Digital technologies are being introduced into the maritime industry at a higher pace than in the past and will drive disruptive changes in the industry, and that will require new skillsets and capabilities. Our ambition is to contribute to the transitions as well as supporting our customers to realize their benefits from digitalization, by combining digital skills and maritime domain knowledge.

In Maritime Advisory we have maritime technical competence and capabilities. Maritime Advisory has the ambition to continue to be a leading player of technical advisory services to the maritime industry.

As a Consultant in Maritime Advisory, you will be in close contact with our customers, advise and facilitate workshops.

Position Qualifications

We seek young engineers within the following fields of expertise:

  • Environment Technologies
  • Hydrodynamics Technologies
  • Ship Structural Technologies
  • Marine Technology
  • Risk analysis and risk management
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • ICT/Programming
  • Applied Physics and Mathematics

We are looking for a colleague with:

  • Fluent English (oral and written)
  • MSc or MBA or equivalent degree
  • Basic ship knowledge and understanding of the maritime sector
  • Analytical approach and solution-oriented attitude
  • Commercial and business-oriented mindset
