Sales Development Representative

At Journey, we transform the important post-sales process from a time consuming chore to a core business asset for any new-build developer, while also giving new-build buyers the customer-experience they deserve when making the most significant purchase of their life. By having everything in one system, we have simplified the critical phase after a newbuild home has been sold, both for the developer and the buyer. 

We are looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative who knows that hard work leads to real results. Your success will be based on outbound sales activities that involve research on real estate companies, identifying and navigating to key decision makers, generating interest, conducting product demos/presentations and working with a Senior Account Executive to secure contracts with new clients. 

To succeed, you must also coordinate calling, booking, and conducting your own client meeting, which requires high-level strategy preparation, as well as build, maintain, and develop strong relationships with new, potential customers.


The immediate tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Identify and explore new business opportunities for Journey by prospecting, booking both qualified first meetings and qualified follow-up meetings with potential customers
  • Act as a strategic consultant for clients
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Keep customer information up to date in our CRM system
  • Learn and keep up to date with the Journey solutions
  • Inspire growth and winning mentality

 

Who we think you are:

  • You have at least one year of sales experience as a Sales Development Representative or a similar role, part-time during your studies also qualifies
  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree
  • You do not hesitate to pick up the phone and can write really good emails
  • A people person who enjoys initiating conversations, builds interpersonal relationships and creates positive buy-in atmosphere - both via phone, in writing and face-to-face
  • You are an ambitious professional, but humble enough to be a dedicated team player
  • You thrive in a high paced environment and are happy to accept business meetings at short notice
  • You are curious and interested in tech, but you do not have to be a certified nerd
  • You have excellent command of the Norwegian and English language, both written and oral
  • Excited for the Journey ahead
