Are you Carnegie’s next intern?  


Our internships usually last for six to eight weeks, with the possibility for both winter and summer internships. You will be part of a highly motivated and skilled team and gain insight into daily activities in the department and receive a unique opportunity to develop your financial knowledge with one of the leading investment banks in the Nordics. As an intern at Carnegie, you will have the chance to work on high-profile transactions across sectors and geographies in both M&A and capital markets (in the Nordics and internationally). A successful internship can result in full-time employment.


As part of our:

  • Investment Banking team you will receive exposure to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity capital markets (ECM), and debt capital markets (DCM).
  • Research team you will be part of our top-ranked research team covering around 365 Nordic companies. The internship offers exposure towards day-to-day coverage, client interactions, and project-based processes like Initial Public Offerings (IPOs).

The relevant candidate should have:

  • Finished at least two years of a BSc, MSc, or similar degree in economics/finance/ industrial economics/ engineering
  • Strong academic record
  • An interest to learn about finance and capital markets
  • Analytical mindset, problem-solving capabilities, and highly motivated
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment
  • Effective time management and multitasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high ethical standard
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English
