Summer Internship 2023
The summer internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in one of the largest sovereign wealth funds in the world! Join an excellent environment for professional development and growth – every role in our organisation plays a role in delivering on our mission, and our summer internships are no different.
As an intern you get a unique opportunity to contribute to the fund early on and to learn from top professionals. You will get a variety of development opportunities including skills-based training sessions, team projects, networking etc. During the internship you will receive a full introduction to the organisation, with high exposure to- and engagement with top management. There will also be social events and team activities. In our organisation we nurture a culture where our employees have fun at work.
As an intern, you will work on your own project within a specific department. Just a few examples of previous projects were “Simulation of hacking NBIM devices”, “Assessment of company climate risk” and “Analysis of the apparel retail e-commerce sector in Europe”.
Our summer internships last for eight weeks between June and August. Most of the interns are based in Oslo, but we will consider a limited number of places for our London office.
Who are you?
We are looking for students from a range of different academic disciplines, who take initiative, are curious and have the desire to learn. You should demonstrate flexibility, be eager to work in teams, and be interested in an internationally focused job with a real purpose.
We are looking for a group of students with different mindsets, who are comfortable in taking risks. We encourage people from different socio-economic and minority backgrounds to apply.
