Summa Equity invests in companies that have leading solutions to global challenges and that create positive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) outcomes for society. We focus on industries and companies within three sustainability megatrends: Resource Efficiency, Changing Demographics, and Tech-Enabled Transformation. Across those themes, our companies are supporting a world which is undergoing a period of transition and showing that business can be part of the solution. 

We are seeking an experienced full-time intern to join the Impact Team for 4 to 6 months this Winter, starting no later than January and ideally sooner (for candidates looking to start in January we would expect some part-time engagement in November or December for onboarding in order to ready to begin work in earnest in January). We are looking for a candidate in Oslo but for exceptional candidates we may consider other geographies as well as part-time or shorter engagements if needed

 To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Strong analytical skills, including experience in data analysis (preferred experience in Python or willingness to learn)
• Track record of working independently and strategically
• Motivation to build companies positively contributing to society
• Interest in learning, and you thrive working in a radically honest and transparent environment

Previous work experience from strategy or management consulting is beneficial, but not required as we strive to build a team with diverse backgrounds. Any experience in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) related projects is also a plus.

 As an intern you will be working closely with the rest of the Impact team on Summa’s impact measurement and management efforts, including: 

• Implement impact analyses, including Harvard Business School’s impact monetization methodology
• Prepare impact results to be included in key external materials, including Summa’s annual Portfolio Report
• Collaborate with Impact Team to generate insights from impact analyses
