You will take a key role in one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry. You will be at the core of our daily business and play an instrumental role in taking us to the next level as we are seeking an Applications Engineer to join our team and strengthen our global business development activities. We are looking for a talented and ambitious, recently graduated (or soon-to-graduate) candidate to join our team. You will be working with both technical and commercial tasks, where understanding of advanced technical products and customers’ perspectives are crucial to succeed. No two days are alike in this dynamic and fast-paced role.
What will your impact and responsibilities be?
As a global leader in hydrogen PEM electrolyser technology, Hystar is committed to delivering excellent technology, systems, and services to a quickly expanding green hydrogen market. As part of Hystar's business development team, you will play an important part of this work, attending to a global customer basis and tailoring electrolyser solutions for different industries and green hydrogen use-cases.
You will be directly exposed to real projects and clients from the start. This includes to conduct quantitative assessments, market research or taking lead in customer processes. Multidisciplinary work and collaboration with other departments, such as product development, engineering and finance is to be expected. You will be responsible for processing information from various channels, extracting the essence and contributing to customer success.

Our business language is English, and all employees must be comfortable with both writing and speaking English at the office. Excellent presentation skills are needed for this role, and proficiency in additional languages, e.g., French or German is considered an advantage. Industry/management consulting experience is considered positively, but is not required. If you have not studied engineering, but have completed a business degree with excellent results and have a strong interest in the green hydrogen business, we would be happy to receive your application!
