The Supply Chain Trainee role
You will take part in the supply chain development of one of the largest branded consumer goods companies in the Nordics. Your role as a Supply Chain trainee will be to support change projects, from initial assessment to diagnostics, design, planning, implementation and subsequent capturing of financial benefits. This program will provide you with an exceptional network and a vast array of future possibilities within Orkla Foods Europe, in Scandinavia, Baltics and Central Europe.
The Trainee Program
In the role as Supply Chain Trainee in Orkla Foods Europe you will be a part of a two-year program where you will be placed in positions at factories and central functions in Norway and Europe. Our Supply Chain Trainee will follow a clear development program including various courses combined with hands on on-the-job-training. You will be a part of the Orkla Foods Europe Operations Team. The team is a highly dynamic and energized team, driving the strategic change and operational improvements needed to secure the long-term success of Orkla Foods Europe. It encompasses a mixture of experienced Supply Chain professionals, former management consultants, and newly graduated “Young Professionals”.
In addition, you will be part of our trainee network consisting of trainees in Orkla Foods Norway. The network organizes gatherings with professional and social content. You will be closely coached by your own mentor, local manager and manager of the trainee program (Vice President Operations). Starting your career here will give you access to a wide array of future possibilities within Orkla Foods Europe on both a local and global level. The role of Supply Chain Trainee reports to Vice President Operations Orkla Foods Europe (program manager).
Place of work:
Extensive traveling required; Move to/Live in Norway during trainee program is a must. Flexibility is essential, and living close to the factory will be natural. A wish to live outside of Norway in a period of time.
