Are you looking for a summer internship that will provide you with a unique experience within the LNG and maritime industry? Look no further, CoolCo is seeking curious and motivated summer interns to our offices in Oslo!

The summer internship is a great opportunity to learn and gain experience within your field of interest. This summer we will offer internship positions within the following fields: ESG, Procurement, Power BI and application support, and LNG Ship Design. You must specify which area you are applying for in your application. Please see more information about each area below.

LNG Ship Design:

What you will be doing:

• Outline sustainable LNG ship designs, considering existing and upcoming environmental regulations, as well as new technologies. Design considerations may include increased efficiency, improved safety features, greater automation, modular designs, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

• Currently in the 4th year of naval architecture/marine engineering studies.

ESG:

What you will be doing:

• Contribute in the ESG reporting for rating agencies such as S&P Global and the UN Global Compact.
• Analyse the company’s ESG status and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Currently in the 3rd or 4th year of a related study, e.g. specialization in sustainability.

Procurement:

What you will be doing:

• Execute cost-effective and risk-minimized purchasing processes to ensure timely delivery to our fleet.
• Lead the logistics processes, collaborating with relevant parties for comprehensive A-Z procurement process management.
• Monitor costs conscientiously, actively seek opportunities for savings, and contribute to improvement initiatives within the Procurement department.

Qualifications:

• Currently studying shipping, logistics, procurement, business, or a related field.

Power BI and Application Support:

What you will be doing:

• Collaborate with end-users to gather and understand report requirements.
• Design, develop, and optimize reports using Power BI.
• Work closely with the team to troubleshoot issues and enhance report functionalities.
• Provide application support and assist the application team.

Qualifications:

• Currently in the 3rd or 4th year of a related study.
• Proficiency in Power BI is a must. 
• Strong IT skills, particularly in the MS Office suite.

• Interest in the LNG and the maritime industry
• Curious and motivated
• Positive and proactive
• Excellent communication skills in English (Norwegian is beneficial but not required).
