Location

We are seeking a candidate to join our Oslo office. Our work model embraces a hybrid approach, offering employees the flexibility to work both onsite and from home.


About the Role

You will be joining a small finance team where you will have a chance to make a real impact. The Finance Operations Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping Two's financial management and operational efficiency processes. Responsible for designing and executing these processes, you will support management decision-making through data analysis and recommendations. We're looking for someone with a keen analytical mindset and strong relationship-building skills.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will contribute to Two's key objectives of building a world-class finance team and developing scalable, compliant processes, controls, and policies for our growing multinational business.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable resulting from our day-to-day operations.
  • Participate in bank account reconciliations and ensure timely completion.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management on financial performance.
  • Design and implement automation solutions and process improvements, to ensure operational scalability.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and discrepancies investigation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure accuracy.
  • Gather, analyse, and interpret financial data to support and influence long-term and strategic decision making
  • Assist with creating financial models and forecasts to project future performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior internship or work experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools is a plus
