We are looking for an innovative and driven Summer Intern to support our Shipping Digitalization & Innovation team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital and analytical projects that enhance operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making. This is your opportunity to work on cutting-edge initiatives that make a real impact in the shipping industry.

What You Will Work On

• Data Analytics Projects: Develop reporting, forecasting models, and operational analytics tools to enhance business performance and decision-making.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to implement digital solutions and contribute to various data-driven initiatives.
• Building Data Infrastructure: Assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring smooth flow and accessibility of data for decision-makers.
• Innovation and Optimization: Use your creativity to identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the design and implementation of innovative solutions to drive operational efficiency.
• Visualization: Create impactful and user-friendly visualizations to communicate complex data insights to key stakeholders.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree in engineering, data science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Experience working independently and as a part of a team.

Key Competencies & Skills

• A solid understanding of technology and its application in shipping and logistics.
• Ability to think creatively and bring innovative ideas to practical implementation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with a collaborative approach to work.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with a passion for technology.
• Experience with coding, data modeling, machine learning, and visualization.
• Proficiency in tools such as Python, R, SQL, Power BI, or similar.
• A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to implement innovative solutions.
