Strategy & Business Development Associate, 2025-2026 (Internship, Oslo)

Are you looking to put strategy and business development skills to the test and gain valuable working experience from one of Europe's leading solar scaleups? We are looking to strengthen our Corporate Development team with a structured individual with strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills. The start date will be August or September 2025 and the duration of the engagement will be 6-12 months.

You will work closely with the VP of Corporate Development (former BCG) and the CRO (former Bain, Amazon, Uber) in supporting our European growth agenda. You will be a central contributor and owner of our most important growth projects. Your will be expected to work both autonomously and in close collaboration with stakeholders.


The projects will have a cross-European impact, spanning go-to-market strategy, sales process improvements, and product rollout initiatives to name a few areas - driving the future of European energy markets.


In this role, you will gain a deep understanding of Otovo's business model and pan-European organization, working across various departments and markets. You must be comfortable with changing priorities and team objectives, always focusing on what will create the most value for the company.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Own and drive key strategic projects for Otovo across 10 European countries

  • Identify problems and opportunities and propose solutions

  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive proposed solutions

  • Consolidating findings and presenting solutions in a compelling manner

  • Developing and presenting implementation plans

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to execute plans and track progress


Job requirements:

  • Hungry to learn and a great work capacity

  • Not afraid of getting their hands dirty to get results.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work independently.

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of international employees.

  • Can-do attitude and enjoy the fact that no day is the same.

  • Eager to scale the leading cleantech company in Europe - and are not afraid to get their hands dirty

  • If you have experience from an internship from a scaleup, top-tier consulting firm, investment banking or venture capital that is regarded as a plus


The position will report to VP of Corporate Development (Anders Rønold)


Location: On-site in Oslo (Torggata 11)
